“Inhabited Woman” explores physical and emotional changes during pregnancy, as well as the conflict that women face between having children and a professional life. Inspired by her own experience, Vannia Ibarguen transports us though the world of the mother-woman, her transformation and her new life where she has to balance work and family. On this production predominates the use of diverse dance languages, multimedia and shadow theatre.
It has been shown at Los Angeles Women Theatre Festival, Dance Festival at Jack Guidone Theater (Washington DC), ICPNA Miraflores (Peru), El Olivar (Peru), V International Dance Festival “100% Cuerpo”, VII International Solo Festival, and III Performance Festival: Experiencias de la Carne (Peru), and the XIII Dance Festival at Libelula Dorada Theatre (Colombia)
